Girls A Grade Final : Whakatāne High School 0 – 0 Trident High School (Whakatāne won in shootout)
A repeat of last year’s final produced an intense, defensive battle. Both sides cancelled each other out over 60 minutes, with neither team able to break the deadlock. The match went to a penalty shootout, where Whakatāne High School held their nerve to claim the title. Last year Trident had won the shootout , this year the roles were reversed in a fantastic contest between the two local rivals.
