Rotorua Schools competing at their respective National Tournaments this week have done us proud!  The high level of local coaching combined with player skill and comittment is clearly evident with 7 of our 10 teams placing in the Top 8 Finals.

The following 4 teams compete for 1st & 2nd in their Finals today.  A simply outstanding effort!

Congratulations to our NZ Team for winning the bronze medal in the inaugural 2010 Youth Olympics.  Hockey NZ CEO message here.  This was an intense and close competition and our NZ girls have done extremely well.

Congratulations to Rotorua Aces Men's and Women's teams, who both placed 3rd in the Intercity Finals.  A fantastic effort in a very tough competition.  Well done also to Rotorua Indians who won the Plate Final, placing 9th.  Full final results here, points tables/placings here.

The National Secondary School Boys Rankin Cup Tournament : Mon 30 Aug - Fri 3 Sept, Rotorua Turfs.  This prestigous event features the Top 16 Schoolboys teams from throughout NZ, inlcuding teams from Christ's College, King's College and Auckland Grammar.
