Representative Hockey.

Representing Bay of Plenty Hockey.

Bay of Plenty Hockey provides opportunities for players to represent our association across Under 16, Under 18, Senior & Masters age groups.

Our representative programme is designed for players who are ready to challenge themselves beyond club hockey.

It offers a performance focused environment where athletes are supported to develop their skills, game understanding, and confidence, while competing against other regions at national tournaments and representative events throughout Aotearoa.

Being selected into a representative team reflects a player’s commitment, attitude, and potential. The programme supports development over time, with pathways that generally progress through U16, U18, U21, National Hockey Championship, and Masters levels. Players may enter the pathway at different stages, whether they are new to representative hockey or aiming to compete at senior level.

Information on trials, training programmes, squad selections, and tournament schedules can be found in the pathway sections below.
